Salary: UH6 £32,296pa to £34,866pa with potential to progress to £37,999pa by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience.
Annual Leave: 25 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year
Location: MacLaurin Building, Hatfield, with the option of hybrid working
We’re looking for a detail-oriented candidate who can play a key role in assisting the Marketing & Communications department in building and optimising engagement with various internal and external audiences, with a particular focus on prospective student engagement.
Main duties and responsibilities
The CRM Officer will assist the Marketing & Communications department and International Office in building engagement with prospective students, applicants, current students, staff, alumni and donors through the build and delivery of high-quality communications and effective use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
The role will involve system integrations, testing and training to support the delivery of CRM communication campaigns, including form building, email, SMS and in-bound and outbound calls. The post holder will liaise with marketing colleagues on the briefing process, review the requirements, build and update journeys, work on templates and forms as required, and analyse and report on the effectiveness against campaign objectives.
Skills and experience required
The post holder will have proven CRM experience and knowledge ideally from within the education sector. They should have a firm understanding of CRM practices, including segmentation, personalisation and automation and familiarity with data security and GDPR. Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are key requirements of the role.
Proven experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, Dynamics or similar would be an advantage.
Qualifications required
The postholder should be educated to a minimum of degree level or equivalent, or have a substantial level of appropriate experience.
