About the Role As an Academic Support Assistant, you will provide tailored educational and administrative support to students and teachers, ensuring an inclusive and enriching learning environment. Responsibilities of the Academic Support Assistant: Assist students in their academic development, providing one-on-one and group support in core subject areas. The successful candidate will: Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certification, or demonstrable experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students and staff. A proactive, empathetic and patient approach to supporting diverse student needs. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
