What does this role involve? You will ensure that appropriate environments are provisioned for use by delivery teams. You’ll manage inter-dependencies between project timelines, deliverables and the availability of environments. You will coordinate new software deployments with Release Management, so the environments are up to date. You’ll work with infrastructure and cloud engineering teams to ensure environments are available as required, promote the use of cloud platforms and play an active role in the transition to CI/CD pipelines. You will u nderstand environmental needs of upcoming pipeline projects and work so that appropriate environments are made available. Who are we looking for? Your previous experience as an Environment Manager in a software development setting, will provide you with an excellent grounding for this role. Your highly developed co-ordination and organisational skills will allow you to plan complex environments and ensure correct provisioning for upgrades, releases and patches across multiple simultaneous delivery streams. You r eye for detail will allow for smooth and successful transitioning of the correct data from one environment to the next. Your experience with Cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines as well as traditional on premises solutions will allow you easily understand and support across multiple platform combinations.
