TeacherActive is honoured to be working alongside a specialist SEMH school based in Bradford. This school provides a stable, comfortable and supportive environment for children with challenging behaviours who may need additional support. This amazing school boasts about their fantastic support network, quality private education, referrals to support services and the additional support they offer families.
The school is looking to employ a motivated, driven and reliable SEMH Tutor to deliver English on a long-term basis, which could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be working alongside Primary and Secondary schools, which will include working with SEMH children, helping them with exams and preparation for GCSEs. The main focus of this role is to help students achieve outstanding results in their subjects while receiving support they may need for their challenging behaviours.
The successful SEMH Tutor will have:
1. Relevant subject degree and experience and/or QTS Qualification (ECTs are also welcome).
2. Experience teaching in Primary and Secondary schools.
3. Understanding of the needs of SEMH pupils.
