Job Title: KS3 SEMH Intervention Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, South Ockendon Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored academic support to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Develop and implement individualised intervention plans to address specific learning challenges Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress and emotional well-being Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure holistic support for students Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions undertaken Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEMH needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of the UK Key Stage 3 curriculum Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of SEMH interventions and strategies Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs Strong classroom management skills Capability to build positive relationships with students and support their emotional well-being Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Work within a learners home setting Collaborative work with school staff and parents Opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
