Tradewind are currently recruiting for a hardworking SEN teacher for a popular Alternative Provision School within Blackpool. The role is to start as soon as possible until July 2024. This is a long-term, full-time position, five days a week, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
The school, rated 'Good', aims to provide high standards of teaching and learning, enabling all children to achieve their academic potential. They deliver a comprehensive curriculum that promotes enjoyment and excellence, encouraging independent learning and celebrating achievements.
The school caters to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and behavioral difficulties. You will teach KS3, delivering the full National Curriculum. As a class teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons to promote both academic and personal development.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:
* Provide a safe, caring environment for pupils and staff.
* Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching KS3.
* Team Teach qualification (training can be provided).
* Knowledge of working with various learning difficulties, including moderate and severe learning difficulties, complex needs, and autism.
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
* Provide overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional references.
* Cover the last 10 years of employment history on your CV, explaining any gaps.
* Have the legal right to work in the UK.
