We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Director of Soft FM. As the Director of Soft FM you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the Soft FM business unit (with a focus on cleaning & catering services). This key role will play a key role in delivering service excellence, operational efficiency and ensuring top levels of client satisfaction. You will develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve service quality, and optimise operational processes. Responsibilities Include Provide operational and strategic leadership to the cleaning and catering services Lead on client and stakeholder relationship management, building on and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and to collaborate with clients to develop effective, tailored solutions. Drive business development & commercial initiatives, that develop, promote, and grow the Soft FM service within the wider market. Implement quality assurance strategies which establish and maintain the highest standards, and to actively implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure adherence to industry standards and client requirements. Effective people and team management including leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing operational teams. Effective financial management including developing and managing budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met in line with business and group plans. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations (including for example H&S, quality controls etc.) that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. Role The right candidate for this role will be an experienced, senior professional with a background in a similar Soft FM environment (ideally with a strong focus on both cleaning and catering services), and be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive business growth. You will have: Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, or a related field, or have equivalent experience. Excellent financial planning and management skills. Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to build strong client relationships. A sound understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices. The ability to drive key initiatives and strategies. Exceptional leadership and people management skills. Due to the nature of our clients, please note an enhanced DBS will be a requirement for this role.
