Job summary To provide a defined level of specialist assessment and access to interventions for transgenderpatients. The post holder will be part of the transgender health team and act as a Transgender Healthcare Professional and work as part of the service to support patients in line with the NHS England national service specification. The role requires the post holder to be a named professional for patients and undertake both assessment and follow-up responsibilities for an identified caseload of transgender and non-binary patients. The role involves monitoring cross sex hormone treatment for trans male trans female and non-binarypatients. The post holder will be part of the team providing a service to patients and, on occasions their families, including direct and indirect clinical work that supports the Clinical Lead and Service Manager in developing the service.
