Receptionist Salary: £12.90 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week includes weekends The Marbrook Centre is an award winning specialist neurological and dementia care provider in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. We deliver specialist 24 hour nursing and therapy services for adults with complex and long term neurological conditions. As the “face “of The Marbrook Centre, you will be the first person that both our residents and their families come into contact with, so you must be able to display empathy and compassion and deliver a warm professional welcome. As an experienced receptionist you will have proficient skills in Microsoft packages, be an excellent communicator, and take pride in your reception and the bistro area whilst ensuring it creates a warm but professional environment. Receptionist duties will include: Being the first point of contact for all visitors Answering the telephone promptly and dealing with enquiries in a helpful, courteous and welcoming manner Ensuring the safety and welfare for residents without capacity attempting to leave the building Taking deliveries and ensuring the appropriate person is notified At The Marbrook Centre we value our team and you will be encouraged to develop your skills further through our commitment to training and support, in return you will demonstrate a good work ethic and excellent communication skills. These are 12 hour shifts: 08.00 – 20.00 and are based on a fixed pattern, over seven days although flexibility will be required. Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Week 2 – Wednesday and Thursday.
