Looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover Scotland and Northern England as far down as Darlington and Stockton-on-Tees, looking after a mix of customers across independent retailers, builders merchants, wholesalers and garden centres. Key Skills/Experience Required: For this Area Sales Manager position you will have experience selling into independent retailers, builders merchants or wholesale customers. A background in DIY/Building Products/ Decorative would be advantageous but full product training will be provided. You will be able to diary plan to cover the large territory and be able to spend nights away when visiting the furthest areas of the allocated territory. You will be driven and keen to develop the area building on a successful patch and developing new and existing customer relationships. Proficient IT capabilities in particular with Excel and PowerPoint.
