Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Cover Supervisor in Devizes
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a specialist SEN school in Devizes, starting 22 April 2025. This full-time role is ideal for individuals who are confident in managing classrooms, engaging students, and supporting those with additional needs. The role involves working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3pm, with varied end times depending on the day.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Lead lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning
* Support students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and behavioural needs, helping them build confidence and develop social skills
* Maintain a calm and structured learning environment, using behaviour management strategies where needed
* Work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to students aged 7 to 16
* Adapt to different classroom settings while fostering positive relationships with students and staff
This is an ideal role for those with previous experience in teaching, learning support, or classroom supervision, particularly within an SEN environment.
