SEND Support Assistant
Area: Water Orton, B46
Hours: Wed + Thurs + Fri, 8:30 - 3:30
Salary: £80- £100 per day
Start date: ASAP
Monarch education, part of affinity workforce, are working closely with a primary school in Water Orton, B46, who requires a Teaching Assistant who would be closely supporting a little girl with Down's Syndrome - experience is essential.
This is a job share, and you will be required to work Wed + Thurs + Friday, starting ASAP for the full academic year - this has the potential to go to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
They wish to appoint an individual with a calming and nurturing nature and extensive experience working with children or adults with Down's Syndrome, which could be in the care or education sector. You do not need to be qualified, but any transferable skills or qualifications would be admirable.
The perfect candidate must be a positive and passionate individual, willing to motivate and inspire the younger generation, always going the extra mile and being committed to their wellbeing and development. You will need to be flexible to the needs of the children and have a good understanding of child development and the learning process; you will need to be alert and proactive to do this role.
