Job Description Chef - Luxury Care Home £31,200 | 40 Hours Across 4 Days Our client, a well-established and highly regarded luxury care home, is seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join their dedicated team. Working 40 hours per week across 4 days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM), the Chef will play a key role in delivering high-quality, home-cooked meals that cater to residents' dietary needs and personal preferences. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Chef in a healthcare, hospitality, or similar setting. A passion for cooking with strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques. Understanding of nutrition and the ability to develop balanced menus that cater to a range of dietary needs, including allergies and cultural preferences. Excellent organisational skills – Able to manage kitchen operations efficiently while maintaining high standards. A strong team player – Someone who can lead, motivate, and support kitchen staff. Key Responsibilities Menu Planning & Meal Preparation – Design and prepare appetising, nutritionally balanced meals that meet the needs of residents. Stock Management – Monitor food supplies, place orders, and maintain accurate inventory records. Food Safety & Hygiene – Ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served in line with health and safety regulations. Team Leadership – Supervise and support kitchen staff in food preparation and service. Kitchen Maintenance – Maintain cleanliness and organisation, including regular deep cleaning.
