We’re looking for a Nurse/Clinical Advisor with a Women’s or Men’s health focus. The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinical team at Fertifa, a fast-growing Health Tech making a real impact in people’s lives. Our team is made up of highly knowledgeable, compassionate professionals who specialise in areas including women’s health, men’s health, fertility, menopause, neurodiversity, and gender affirmation. As one of the first interactions our patients will connect with, you’ll play a vital role in providing expert guidance and support, helping them navigate their unique health journeys. If you’re a nurse who is eager to make a difference alongside some of the best in the field, we’d love to hear from you This role reports to the Head of Clinical Services, whilst working closely with other consultants, patient advisors and collaborating with the wider company. Qualifications and Experience: Must hold a qualification with a valid NMC registration, or equivalent accreditation from a relevant governing body. A minimum of 2 years post registration experience, with at least 1 year's specialism. Previous experience of carrying out patient consultations and case management desirable. Organisational and time-management skills to manage appointments, webinars, and consultations effectively Experience in delivering health education and promotion desirable Good IT skills required (Microsoft Office, Semble). Key Responsibilities: Clinical focus: Act as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries across multiple health pathways, providing accurate, up to day information tailored to individual needs. Conduct discovery calls and consultations, collaborating with patients and clinicians to plan and arrange appropriate care and treatments. Gather patient feedback to continuously enhance our benefits program and improve patient satisfaction. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding protocols, ensuring the privacy and safety of all patients. Manage app and email inquiries professionally, delivering informed and patient centred responses. Document patient interactions, treatments and outcomes accurately, maintaining high standards of record keeping. Interpret and discuss treatment plans, lab results, and follow-up options with patients across different health pathways. Provide guidance and empathy to patients throughout their treatment journey, offering support before, during and after testing or procedures. Uphold a high level of professionalism in all aspects of patient care. Operational focus: Support daily clinical operations, coordinating care within the team while considering staffing and expertise requirements. Serve as an escalation point for patient advisors on clinical queries, providing expert guidance as needed. Work closely with clinicians to monitor appointment availability, arranging additional slots when necessary to reduce wait times. Collaborate with partner clinics and wellness providers to deliver a seamless patient experience across all services. Contribute to the development of digital tools and services, ensuring a supportive, innovative, and efficient patient journey. Follow clinical protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring patient information and consent processes are clear and accurate. To create educational content, run webinars, and facilitate teaching sessions on area of expertise and broader health topics. Additional Requirements: Willingness to support patients across diverse pathways including but not limited to women’s health, men’s health, menopause, maternity, neurodiversity and gender affirmation, with training provided as needed. Flexibility to work a rota including early starts (8am), late finishes (8.30pm), and availability on Fridays. Commitment to continuous professional development, staying current with healthcare practices relevant to our services. Job focus: Men’s Health or Women’s Health We’re looking for an individual that has a specialisation in either: Men’s Health Experience in men’s health services, including sexual health, urology, prostate health, mental health, and chronic disease management or Strong understanding of male-specific health concerns, such as testicular health, erectile dysfunction, infertility, and hormone management Or Women’s Health Strong understanding of female-specific health concerns, such as endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), hormone management, and pelvic health.
