Corby Urgent Care Centre, part of OneMedical Group, is looking for a Patient Navigator to join a thriving and dynamic team and help to facilitate the journey of all our registered and unregistered patients.
The Patient Navigator/Receptionist will form part of our front of house team to provide patient focused telephone and administration services that assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professionals. They will facilitate and deliver a patient centric experience, supporting all other functions in delivering outstanding patient care, utilising a variety of platforms including front of house (reception), back office support functions and telephone services.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, experience of using IT systems and work well under pressure. Working as part of a team who really care about putting our patients first will be a huge motivator. Experience as a Patient Navigator/Receptionist is desirable though not essential.
We offer unsociable hours pay for the hours worked all-day Saturday and Sunday 30% extra
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle incoming and outgoing calls efficiently, managing high patient volumes
* Direct calls and take messages as necessary
* Sort, review, and distribute internal mail
* Process outgoing mail following established procedures
* Manage patient records by pulling, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents into electronic systems
* Ensure the reception area remains tidy and organized, ready for use by colleagues
* Receive and appropriately distribute incoming deliveries
The Ideal Candidate:
* Prior experience as a patient navigator is desirable
* Confident and professional telephone manner
* Strong IT skills and familiarity with basic office software
* Friendly, approachable, and patient with excellent interpersonal skills
* Able to follow instructions and procedures with attention to detail
* Highly organized with good communication skills
* Able to work effectively with a wide range of people

About Corby Urgent Care Centre
Corby Urgent Care Centre offers a high standard of unscheduled care from early morning to late evening for patients attending with a wide variety of undifferentiated conditions.
The centre is staffed primarily by our team of experienced urgent care clinicians with additional support from other clinical and non-clinical members of staff.
The team is made up of a mixed MDT including GP,s Advanced Practitioners, Nurses and Urgent Care Technicians. The team is also supported by the Non Clinical team. They all work together to create a positive and rewarding workplace environment for colleagues delivering a high-quality experience for patients.
