The role holder will be responsible for all aspects of Explosive trials delivery within the Trials and Test Technology Centre (3TC). Ideal Candidates will have the following skills, experience, and behaviours: Experience of acting as a focal point for Explosive trials deconfliction across the Engineering Trials Delivery Unit within 3TC. Experience of being responsible for the balancing of future demand against capability across the Delivery Unit. Proven experience in ensuring a rigorous internal finance control and governance framework is in place and is complied with for relevant functional activities. Experience in ensuring that budgets and funding are correctly configured, and appropriate governance applied. Act as the interface between operations and programme to ensure delivery and management of assigned projects in accordance with requirements, operational constraints, time, cost, and quality. Manage long-range plan to enable comprehensive and realistic forecasting to meet all programme demand. Maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to minimise risks and optimise opportunities for effective delivery of capability. Ensure that performance metrics, procedures, processes and systems are developed, implemented and of a quality that delivers against Delivery Unit Programme requirements. Drive and enable identification and implementation of process improvement activities and other innovation activities within the Delivery Unit. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience. Excellent communications skills - able to inspire, motivate and engage widely across the business.
