Role: Locum Pharmacist Banding: Band 7 Location: London Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Hours: Full-time Rate: £28 - £34 per hour The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team at the Royal Free Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel and have a strong working knowledge of medicines. Experience as a data analyst is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: You will provide expert pharmaceutical care to patients. You will utilize advanced data analysis skills to improve medication management and patient outcomes. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, including Pharmacy Technicians and Nurses, to ensure the safe and effective use of medications. You will maintain accurate and detailed records of patient medication histories. You will conduct regular audits and contribute to the development of best practices in pharmaceutical care. Requirements Education and Qualifications: Relevant Pharmacy qualification. Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Experience in aseptic preparation or chemotherapy screening (verification) Prior NHS experience is desirable. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Skills and Knowledge: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications. Experience in data analysis or a related field. Why work with Pulse?
