Description We have an amazing opportunity in a newly created role, for a Retail Operations Lead. This is a highly influential role where you will work closely with the Head of Retail, to create amazing commercial and consumer experiences across our retail estate. You will be a brand ambassador for standards, excellence and inspire people daily to represent the values that make Footasylum the best place to work and shop. Some key facets of the role will include leading on store openings, ensuring both a smooth and effective process whilst also supporting our new leaders and employers to follow standards of excellence. You will help with recruitment, consumables and planning as well as training and developing teams. You will have a deep understanding of the value of both KPIs and Data, whilst also training and supporting others in realising the value of making data driven commercial decisions. You will support area managers with strategies and campaigns to increase performance and sit in a position as a trusted advisor to the operational retail workforce. The Team We are looking for two people in this in this role and you will work together, with the Head of Retail to successfully support the wider retail business. You will have loads of opportunities to develop and grow, in a strategic role that really makes a difference. Our people are our most important asset and you will be a huge part of the connective lines between our retail people, our managers, area managers, senior leaders and the wider business. About You You will be a true Footasylum brand ambassador with a deep understanding of retail operations, creative ideas and the ability to lead and inspire wide ranges of people. You will understand people, the way they behave and recognise which strategic approach to take in order to meet our operational goals. People development will be important to you, whilst recognising where we need to develop and support and recognising the potential excellent talent across the retail estate. Operationally you will a deep understanding of how the wider Footasylum departments correlate, being excellent at harnessing relationships with different business areas with a view to creating excellent working practices. The operational standards will be paramount to you and you will understand the cogs that make up the wheel, to ensure successful and happy working environments.
