We work closely with a fantastic special school in the St Austell area that is looking for new TAs to join the school with an immediate start. The school is based in a fantastic location with brand new facilities and boasts a very high staff retention rate.
The school looks after a very wide range of special needs & disabilities, which will often be complex needs, so experience in this area is essential.
The role:
As there are a few gaps at the school currently, it is not certain which class you will be supporting in, so it will very much depend on your experience and best fit!
The role will mostly be providing general classroom support as well as 1-1 support where required. The classroom teachers look to their TAs for any additional support, consistency, and proactiveness - proactiveness is the most important trait they require in a special school.
