What we are looking for:
Fiera Real Estate is seeking to recruit a Fund Management Analyst into its Core UK real estate investment management team. The core REIM team comprises two other investment professionals who are in turn part of the wider investment management team. The Core team has responsibility and oversight for the Fiera Real Estate Long Income Fund and all separately managed accounts with a focus towards income investing. At the time of writing the Core team is responsible for approximately £500m of AUM within the UK business.

In the UK, Fiera Real Estate is a leading creator and manager of assets via its ownership stakes in nine UK property companies. The firm (previously known as Palmer Capital) was founded in 1992 and directly manages £1.1 billion of AUM as of 31st March 2024.The firm’s vertically integrated business model has created a pan UK platform of partnerships that allows investors to access some of the best deal flow and entrepreneurial managers within the centralized framework provided by Fiera Real Estate.
Your responsibilities:
5. Supporting senior investment professionals on sales and acquisitions.
6. Supporting and leading on asset management activity within the team.
7. Preparing quarterly investor reports and presentations.
8. Supporting senior investment professionals on performance analysis and attribution across all Core UK real estate mandates. This includes preparation and management of vehicle and project level cashflows and models as appropriate.
9. Working closely with finance team to manage updates to fund and project cashflows.
10. Managing the day-to-day relationship with MSCI in terms of benchmark reporting and liaison along with other key performance tools such as INCANS.
11. Assisting in the oversight of third-party managing agents to drive asset performance.
12. Supporting the core team on strategic growth initiatives across the business.
13. Working with other members of the Core team, alongside the FRE sustainability team, to drive key ESG initiatives at both a portfolio and asset level.
14. Contributing to the decision-making process as part of a small and committed team.
Must have requirements to be successful in this role :
15. 1 to 4 years’ experience working in real estate investment management (MRICS preferred but not essential), private practice (valuations, asset management or capital markets preferably) or real estate investment banking / corporate finance.
16. Excellent numerical and modelling skills, with the ability to build models in Microsoft Excel from scratch. Training may be provided where required.
17. Detail oriented.
18. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
19. A desire to grow into an investment management function over time.
20. Strong work ethic and an ability to contribute to a positive culture and work well under pressure.
