Responsibilities Participate in project meetings and provide insightful reports. Forge strong relationships with clients and contractors as an integral member of the team. Collaborate in meetings with designers, specialist contractors, and internal teams. Review designs diligently to ensure compliance with project specifications. Analyse and choose mechanical sub-contractors based on their capabilities. Stay updated with market rates and provide commercial inputs to the procurement team. Supervise on-site building services installation to ensure contractual compliance. Implement health and safety rules strictly during the project's duration. Requirements A relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification or similar. Proven track record as a Mechanical Engineer, with experience in government schemes or infrastructure projects. Proficiency in mechanical engineering design software and CAD tools. Highly knowledgeable in mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and piping. Acquaintance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High-quality communication abilities for effective collaboration and clear technical information sharing. Self-driven and team-oriented mindset with a keen focus on achieving project goals.
