Partnered with a leading FMCG business based in Greenford, I am searching for a PQ Financial Accountant on a full time permanent basis. They operate to a hybrid working model with only 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. Key responsibilties of this role include: Lead the Overheads forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking and reporting processes Provide regular and ad hoc analysis on Overhead spends to key stakeholders Drive and provide financial support on all Overhead related projects Continually look for and challenge ways of reducing Overhead costs Ensure all Supply Co accounting and reporting is timely, complete and accurate Review and follow up on relevant monthly balance sheet reconciliations Work with the Tax and other finance teams to ensure Intrastat, tax and other relevant external financial reporting is timely and accurate Work with the Shared Service Centre (SSC) and business stakeholders to ensure appropriate processes are being followed and KPIs achieved for all SSC work associated with your areas of responsibility Identify and drive opportunities to transfer further work to the Shared Service team Ensure schedule of authority (SOAs) limits and SAP release strategies are up-to-date and fit-for-purpose Support the UK Finance Manager on financial audits, finance projects and other ad hoc work on a need basis Ideal person for this role: Working towards a formal accounting qualification (ideally ACCA) At least 2-3 years experience in a finance related role Experience working in an FMCG or Manufacturing setting would be highly desirable, but not essential. Experience using SAP would be highly desirable but not essential What's in it for you?
