Position: Children and Families Social Worker
Contract: Temporary, with potential for extension
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Role Responsibilities:
1. Assessing and managing cases of children and families in need
2. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to support vulnerable individuals
3. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the wellbeing and safety of children
4. Conducting home visits, assessments, and reviews in accordance with statutory guidelines
5. Providing expert advice and guidance to families and colleagues
Requirements:
6. Qualification in Social Work (Degree/Diploma in Social Work)
7. Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
8. Previous experience working as a Children and Families Social Worker
9. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
