Protex was established in 2008 to offer the highest level of service delivering fire & security systems services to local clients. Over time, we have expanded to offer a wide range of fire and security technology solutions, designing, installing, maintaining, and monitoring systems for large global clients and local businesses alike.
We take pride in our impressive portfolio of completed projects and look forward to many more to be awarded and collaborate on.
We are a small team where everybody matters. We all want to deliver the best service to our clients and continue to grow the company over the coming years; this is a chance for someone to join in and really own their role.
To excel in this role, you will be someone who works hard, pays attention to detail, enjoys multitasking, has fun, and wants to grow. The role involves covering all aspects of administration and coordination while reporting to the Office Manager.
We need your help running the day-to-day operations of the office function. Here are some examples of typical responsibilities:
1. External client communication via our job management system, along with the usual email and phone calls.
2. Process the life cycle of engineers' jobs via the job management system (Book job > close job down > invoice > follow up quote for extra works if required).
3. Assisting with small quotations and remedial works.
4. Ordering parts.
5. Compiling job completion packs.
6. Scheduling of engineers' diaries.
7. Booking occasional accommodation and vehicle services.
8. General office duties to support the office and operational functions.
You will be well supported by the team and trained on all of our processes and systems, and there will always be someone to help while you settle in.
The role is based at our office in Manchester city centre where you will have access to your own workspace, free private parking, and as much tea and coffee as you can drink! Once you have passed probation, we may even consider allowing access to the biscuits….
