The role we’re hiring for is a Remedial Scheduler to join our team based in Knaresborough. This role involves managing engineers' schedules, ensuring confirmed appointments, and providing necessary job details for first-time completion. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, efficiently coordinating engineers, customers, and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include scheduling maintenance, assigning jobs, maintaining customer relationships, and overseeing documentation and invoicing. Attention to detail and multitasking ability are essential for success. What you receive for joining us: We’re looking to offer a salary of £26,000 - £27,500. In addition, you’ll enjoy 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to purchase additional holiday. A statutory pension is also included. Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: Making sure all remedial visits are booked in advance for the relevant area, ensuring engineers have a full schedule and customers are informed of their appointments Managing the day-to-day diary of remedial and small works engineers, assigning jobs based on their competencies to maximise efficiency and first-time completion Ensuring all necessary parts are ordered and available ahead of scheduled work, preventing delays and allowing engineers to complete tasks without disruption Checking and uploading all necessary documentation, including certificates and job sheets, while reporting to the Line Manager if engineers are not meeting requirements or providing complete information Can you show experience in some of these areas: Candidates with a scheduling background are preferred, and we would love to hear from those with experience in the fire & security industry Clear and professional telephone skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to handle daily challenges Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, managing a high-volume workload while staying organised, meeting deadlines, and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work Proven computer literacy, with proficiency in office applications and the ability to quickly learn new systems and work efficiently with digital tools Do you see yourself reflected in the description above?
