Join a leading Contract Electronics Manufacturer, as a Business Development Engineer. With over 40 years of excellence, the company is dedicated to turning product ideas into reality, ensuring customer success through on-time delivery of PCBAs, final assemblies, and full turnkey box-build solutions. This role is integral to driving growth across three UK factories in Windsor, Haddenham, and Basildon through effective lead generation, opportunity creation, and contract negotiation.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Assist in generating leads using all available tools and professional networks.
* Support the team in securing meetings and visits with prospective customers.
* Follow up on enquiries and opportunities, helping to produce proposals, quotations, and contracts.
* Develop strong working connections with Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams across our factories, facilitating prospective customer visits.
* Work closely with factory NPI teams to ensure smooth integration of new customers into the business.
* Accurately record data, activities, and information into our CRM systems.
