Key responsibilities will include;
* Lead the reception team to deliver exceptional patient care.
* Oversee and manage the reception area, always ensuring efficient workflows.
* Supervise the appointment system, ensuring timely and smooth service for patients.
* Train and develop reception staff, ensuring data accuracy and efficient processing of patient information.
* Oversee all administrative tasks completed by the reception team.
* Act as the first point of contact for complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Communicate effectively with staff at all levels within the surgery.
About the Candidate
General practice is a challenging environment and we are looking for someone with the following key skills and experience:
* Proven leadership experience in general practice.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Approachable, calm, and reliable, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
* Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and make sound decisions in changing circumstances.
* Willingness to cover shifts and adapt to varying schedules when necessary.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of people.
About Us
Swanwood Partnership is in the centre of Wickford, we are located close to the local shops. We look after around 7,000 patients as well as being a training practice. Staff are very sociable and often organise out of work evenings.
