We’re partnering with a forward-thinking organisation to find an experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new Residential Children’s Home near Peterborough. This specialised home will provide support for children with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and other associated needs. Each home creates a nurturing, therapeutic environment where children can experience growth, independence, and joy in everyday activities.

Key Responsibilities:
5. Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations to ensure the home meets all regulatory standards and company policies.
6. Child-Centered Environment: Create a safe, nurturing atmosphere where young people can flourish and reach their potential.
7. Staff Development: Provide leadership and supervision to the team, promoting professional growth, ongoing training, and career development.
8. Safeguarding: Uphold robust safeguarding principles, prioritizing the welfare and safety of young people.
9. Effective Communication: Engage openly with residents and staff, addressing needs and concerns to maintain a positive environment.
Requirements:
10. Qualifications: QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (or equivalent)Registered Manager’s Award / NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and Management, or other relevant management qualifications.
11. Experience: At least 2 years in a management role within residential children’s care over the last 5 years.Minimum 1 year of direct staff supervision experience.Familiarity with the Ofsted inspection framework.
