The Role
Boltons Approved Mental Health Professional (AMH) HUB require an AMHP to join our busy team of dedicated AMHPs working to provide statutory MHA assessments and other related duties. Ideally, we are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic candidate with extensive practical experience of working within the Mental Health Act and related legislative frameworks.
This post does not involve care co-ordination.
Full Time: Permanent involves compressed hours and working weekends on a rota basis. As such attracts a 7% anti-social hours payment.
About You
The successful candidate requires knowledge of the legislation and policies concerning, but not limited to, modern mental health care and understanding of how this is delivered together with the ability to identify the signs and symptoms of mental illness.
The candidate will ideally be able to develop an understanding of local resources and take appropriate action including least restrictive alternatives to admission.
Excellent communication, networking and assessment skills are required together with the ability to implement relevant legislation and manage risk.
You must be fully SWE registered.
