Management Accountant
About the role
The Management Accountant is an integral part of the Finance Team, reporting to the Financial Controller. Working closely with the wider finance team and a range of internal stakeholders, the purpose of the role is to assist with the production of timely and accurate financial information, and other analysis to support business initiatives. Following Series A funding in 2020, we are on a mission to grow, meaning we’re always seeking ways to improve processes, become more efficient and more effective. What you’ll do:
1. Preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close deadlines.
2. Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed and maintain accruals and prepayments on a monthly basis.
3. Analyse revenue, commissions, and expenses to ensure accurate allocation on a monthly basis.
4. Assist in the analysis of financial statements, reporting on variances and providing insights into performance.
5. Support with monthly payroll calculations, PAYE, headcount reporting and HR/Payroll paperwork.
6. Assist with quarterly forecasting and annual budget process, and cashflow forecasting.
7. Assist with annual R&D claims.
8. Take responsibility of process improvements and efficiency benefits in the team.
9. Assist in the annual audit process.
10. Assist with the annual PSA, P11d payroll reporting deadlines.
11. Support with additional ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the Finance team.

6. Excellent communicator with the ability to build solid working, cross-functional relationships.
7. Part-qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or similar accounting qualification.
This role will be based from our office in Leeds, with flexible working available. The salary for this role is competitive and negotiable based on experience.
