What You Will Be Doing
As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for building, deploying and maintaining the environments, tooling, and pipelines to support the development and deployment of newly developed software solutions to high profile customers within the defence sector. This hybrid role will involve some travel to customer sites as required (approx. once per month), particularly during launches and deployments.
What We Are Looking For?
Essential:
* Strong Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure, including a strong understanding of networking and infrastructure management tools within the platform.
* Experience of various security features and implementations within Azure.
* Strong experience of using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
* Kubernetes experience.
Desirable:
* Experience of working within both Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
* Experience deploying infrastructure as code and managing remote Terraform state files, with knowledge of Azure landing zones and architecture networking and security.
