Applications are invited for the post of Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with Special Interest in Severe Asthma. This post is to commence on 01 April 2025 for a period of 12 months in the first instance.
Main duties of the job:
1. As a Locum Consultant, you will work with colleagues to further the care of patients with severe asthma as well as general respiratory medicine.
2. You will contribute to the respiratory on-call rota and when rostered to do so, will be responsible for the care of respiratory in-patients.
You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Respiratory Medicine or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
