Role Title: Finance Analyst (Repairs)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Salary: £36,589 to £45,736 per annum (salary offered dependent on experience)
Contract: Initial 12-month contract with a view to extend by 1 year
In this key role, you'll be providing support, analysis and reporting to the Finance and Project Teams of existing partnership contracts for our responsive repairs and planned maintenance contracts. This will include detailed involvement in the procurement of the Responsive Repairs Contract and involvement with other contract suppliers.
We support agile working, so you'll be provided all IT equipment to work flexibly between your home, and our Dartford office.
Your key tasks will include:
* Detailed analysis and reporting of monthly repairs performance including financial cost and volume information across our existing interim core repairs contract and other planned and reactive contracts. This includes understanding the terms of the contract, monitoring spend to budget, reforecasting and identifying trends.
* Providing support to the Accountant for Homes and Places assisting in the business partnering to Property Services directorate. Attending department management meetings, liaising with external consultants, and integrating financial controls and disciplines into these operational work areas.
* Assisting in the budget and reforecasting processes, ensuring operating costs and operational efficiencies are considered.
* Representing Finance on the procurement of the core repairs contract, including attending project meetings and understanding/providing feedback on all tender documents.
* Engaging with Moat teams including Property Services and the Business Transformation & Insight Teams to manage the collation and ongoing development of analytical data to identify and manage trends.
* Reviewing orders and invoicing to ensure information is correctly reported, allocated and reconciled with asset data and our financial systems.
* Assisting in the reconciliation and implementation of systems and performance to ensure Moat's contractual requirements are met.
