Is this your next opportunity? The Senior Ad Operations Manager role is both a great lead technical role and one which requires great stakeholder management. The role offers great responsibility for building out LDS’ Ad Operational capabilities, delivering results for our top-tier clients and building and managing a small technical team. Full training of Graduate level new starters; exposing them to all areas of their role in a contained environment which allows them to learn whilst safeguarding the business & our clients. Hold technical relationships with LDS’ top tier clients across YouTube via Google Ad Manager ensuring their LDS ad sales experience is seamless to set up and outperforms our competitors on YT. Provide the Sales Team with technical expertise and collateral to assist in providing the best client-first service with a particular focus on upselling existing partnerships. Lead in the training of newer members of the YouTube Ad Operations team. Acting as a point of contact for troubleshooting in the first instance. Proactively search to expand our capabilities within YouTube reviewing and suggesting the best use of 3rd Party Ad Tech and Processes to ensure the best results for clients. Keep up to date with developments within the digital media landscape (LUMAscape), Ad Tech Vendors & Ad Distribution Partners. Maintaining relationships with key partners to ensure the best use of their offerings for our clients. Creating efficiencies in LDS’ product offering, spotting gaps in our current practices and implementing solutions to save both time and money. Ownership of communication between the Global Ad Sales teams and YouTube Ad Operations Team. Stakeholder management; including the ability to work outside of the team to bring efficiencies to business processes, opening up new products and services within the Ad Operations proposition Owning repackaging of inventory and management of the monthly channel integration into the LDS network. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything. Demonstrable experience in a similar Ad Sales / Digital Advertising Operations role. Previous managerial experience and can speak to multiple occasions where their business has benefited from their stewardship. A Google Ad Manager expert (inc. an understanding of VAST tag troubleshooting). A proven track record when it comes to problem solving within the Digital Ad Operations Space including finding creative solutions where ad inventory is limited. Collaborative work ethic to ensure processes and procedures are adhered to across the team. Re-educating where necessary. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets Formulae Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in maintaining transparency around issues and accountability for mistakes to stakeholders.
