Solicitor, Employment Team – Glasgow (Assignment 15895)
This specialist litigation firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its busy Employment Team in Glasgow. You will join a highly regarded team and the main focus of the role is to advise clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters including employer negligence, grievance matters, settlements, employment contracts, policies, and redundancy programmes.
The successful candidate can expect to represent claimant and respondent clients in Employment Tribunal cases. Your key tasks will include:
1. Responsibility for all Employment Tribunal proceedings including drafting pleadings, taking witness statements and appearances at the Employment Tribunal.
2. Managing a diverse caseload of contentious employment work and operating a sophisticated case management system.
3. Responsibility for all client communications.
The ideal candidate for this role will be at the NQ-5 years’ PQE level, ideally with employment law experience. Previous experience of risk management would also be beneficial.
Employment Law – Edinburgh (Assignment 15902)
Due to business growth, this niche Employment Law business, based in Edinburgh, is recruiting an Employment Lawyer. This role would suit candidates with 3 years’ PQE and above, who have experience in employments tribunals. Applications from those seeking part-time work will also be considered.
The position will report directly into Head of Employment and will involve:
