Job Title: Qualified English Teacher Location: East of England, Essex, Southend-on-Sea Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £31,650 - £43,607 Per annum Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to a diverse group of students Assess and evaluate students' progress to ensure learning objectives are met Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic development Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England Degree in English or related field Demonstrated experience in teaching English at the secondary level Education: Degree in English or related field Experience: Teaching English at the secondary level Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and educational standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Effective classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working with students with special educational needs Working Conditions: The role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar.
