Main duties of the job To provide highly specialist physiotherapy fitness to work assessments, treatment interventions and case management for own caseload of occupational health patients with musculoskeletal conditions. To assess, treat and manage own complex caseload using specialist knowledge and skills as an autonomous practitioner, including the maintenance of comprehensive records. To provide specialist advice to physiotherapy colleagues and other members of the occupational health team regarding occupational health physiotherapy. The post holder will be embedded within the Occupational Health Department, but will also actively link with the musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy service. To undertake a team leader role in managing, planning and delivering the physiotherapy service within occupational health. To supervise, teach and develop less experienced physiotherapists, student physiotherapists and other members of the occupational health multidisciplinary team.
