We operate a flexible resource pool across our General Insurance portfolio, and therefore you could be involved in driving the following types of large-scale transformation activity: M&A and strategic technology integration Major platform upgrades and SaaS adoption Technology innovation, harnessing GenAI, automation and data A bit about the job: As the Programme manager, you will deliver programmes that support Aviva's strategy by performing and embedding change to improve our customer experience. Along with developing high level and detailed programme delivery plans, this role will identify and handle dependencies and risks and provide regular programme status updates to senior management up to C-suite. The successful individual will have to control risk exposure by identifying delivery and operational risks and develop mitigating strategies, whilst also leading large internal and external teams from third-party suppliers in a matrix environment. This includes being comfortable with influencing and challenging collaborators up to the C-suite. The position holder will be responsible for owning, monitoring and forecasting a budget upwards of seven million pounds, as well as possessing high degrees of Agility (Foresight, Learning, Adaptability, Resilience) and be comfortable with Mobilisation (Putting customer first, shaping strategy, Inspiring & Influencing), Execution (Building talent and teams, committing to results) and Transformation (Leading innovation and seeking to redefine/challenge). Skills and experience we're looking for: Extensive experience leading highly complex technology and business change programmes with annual budgets of £7m, demonstrating strong commercial competence. Experience working within a highly regulated, financial services environment - preferably within Insurance. Broad experience with business enterprise technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Guidewire, Salesforce, Earnix, ICE) and emerging technologies (e.g. GenAI, Automation, Digital and Data solutions) Capable of influencing senior collaborators up to C-Suite, to lead changes at a strategic level, with demonstrable experience in handling multiple third-party suppliers. Success in building high-performing cross-functional programme teams and managing diverse collaborators. Skilled in managing key messages to senior stakeholders, including C-Suite.
