Description
We are looking for an Events Assistant to join our growing marketing events. You will be reporting into our Senior Events Manager and will be responsible for providing organisational and functional support across our portfolio of events which range from our flagship, conference-style CFC Summits with hundreds of attendees to smaller social events for our underwriting teams.
About the role
As Events Assistant, you’ll support our events team to organise and execute broker events that embody the CFC culture. This requires you to:
* Help coordinate CFC’s presence at partner events and industry tradeshows, including fulfilment of sponsorship entitlements, booth presence, and external social events.
* Assist with end-to end logistics for small-scale social events in conjunction with global underwriter travel
* Assist with the planning of larger CFC Summits in UK and North America, providing support on various key tasks.
* Manage the Events and Summit email inboxes
* Liaise with internal legal team on contracts and due diligence for event suppliers
* Liaise with internal finance team on supplier invoices and payments
* Research and source venues and suppliers – negotiating costs in line with budget
About you
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a events-based role, preferably B2B, with exposure to stakeholder management. You will also be a meticulous planner with exceptional attention to detail, as well as being highly organised with excellent communication skills.
