Description The Asset Renewals Partnership is made of up of programmes and projects varying in value, size and complexity putting the client and the passenger at the heart of everything it delivers. The Asset Management and Compliance Programme, the largest programme at Heathrow, involves the replacement or renewal of engineering, technology, and commercial assets across the Heathrow estate; it also ensures that assets are compliant to regulatory or statutory requirements throughout the service offering at the airport. Our partnership at Heathrow continues to grow and as such the Costain Heathrow team are looking for a Project Manager to manage the Q6 Cladding installation works in the Main CTA Tunnel at Heathrow Airport within the ARP portfolio. The CTA tunnel is one of Heathrow’s most important assets and links the Central Terminal Area to the M25 and M4 spur to the north. The project is currently in a position where the programme has maturity and the cladding installation date is approaching. This role requires a strong Project Manager to come in, lead the team through a collaborative approach with our Client and Supply Chain to deliver this important project on time, safely and in budget. This position offers up the opportunity to demonstrate Costain’s capability and values to grow the Costain account at Heathrow to ensure a future pipeline of work for our organisation and growing talent within the team. LI-JK1 Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Lead a project/s from the stage in which it is allocated to us to its end point working with the various disciplines, the supply chain and with Heathrow (our partner) Ensure the project and contractual requirements are met while maintaining a strong relationship with our partner. Proactively manage the Programme, risks, opportunities and budget Deliver Internal and external reporting with overall responsibility for meeting the performance requirements of the project (s) Leading by example in respect of Health, safety and wellbeing, Drive efficiency and continual productivity improvements, creating best practise for the team and adding value for our customer. Understand and Champion the Heathrow one team ethos. Champion Sustainability for all those involved Establish clear lines of communications throughout the integrated team, defining roles and responsibilities in order to ensure the efficient use of resources and the delivery of cost-effective solutions.
