Higher Level Teaching Assistant
A Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) typically works in primary or secondary schools, providing support to teachers and students to improve learning outcomes. The role involves a higher level of responsibility compared to a standard Teaching Assistant (TA) and usually requires more advanced skills and experience. To support the teaching and learning process by providing high-quality assistance to the classroom teacher, contributing to the planning, delivery, and assessment of lessons, and supporting the progress of students across a range of abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN). The HLTA is expected to work independently and with initiative, often taking on whole-class teaching responsibilities under the direction of the class teacher or senior leadership team.
What you need:
* Hold a relevant Higher Level Teaching qualification
* Have eligibility to work in the UK.
* Have applicable references on request.
* Passionate and driven, willing to put in extra effort for the quality education of children.
* Hold a current DBS (or be willing to apply)
