Job Title: Relief Visitor Services Assistant | 7508 | Casual Contract until 31 October 2025 | £12.65 per hour (Scale C) | Variable hours | Cromer
Norfolk Museums Service (NMS) collectively welcomes over 230,000 visitors a year across ten of Norfolk’s best museums.
Job Responsibilities:
* Provide a wide variety of front-line services to visitors, including selling admission tickets and merchandise, processing memberships, and providing guided tours.
* Work on a zero-hour casual basis with varied working days from Monday to Sunday, including regular weekend work, bank holidays, and occasional evenings.
* Availability during term time and school holidays is expected.
Qualifications:
Experience in a retail, leisure, or heritage environment with excellent customer service skills, including operating tills and cash handling.
Please note, previous experience in a museum or detailed knowledge of the arts and history is not required; a passion for delivering a first-class visitor experience and a 'can do' attitude is essential.
