I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager for a fabulous 45 bedded residential and dementia care home for the elderly near the beautiful town of Market Harborough. The home provides short-term and long-term residential care for the elderly and those living with dementia, as well as respite care, and is rated as ‘good’ by CQC.
In this role you will:
• Assist the Home Manager in the running of the home, which is rated as Good by CQC
• Ensure all residents are provided with the highest standards of care, and doing everything you can to develop, motivate, and improve the wellbeing of your team
• Ensure care plans for residents are completed within the timescales require by the company policy and ensure that all care plans are evaluated at least once a calendar month
• Ensure all team members are fully competent with medication and ensuring weekly audits are completed
For this fabulous role you must have:
• A relevant Professional qualification, Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• A minimum of three years’ experience in residential and nursing home setting
• At least one year experience working with people living with dementia
• An awareness of the principles of Person Centred Care Planning
• Live within 30 minutes of the Home
