Grade: H scp27 37,035 to scp31 40,476 Grade: I scp31 37,035 to scp35 44,711 (AMHP) Contract: Permanent 37hrs per week Role specifics: Post holder must be either; registered with Social Work England or in the final year of a Social Work degree or equivalent and must hold a full UK driving licence. The Role To do everything possible to ensure the team provides an efficient and effective service to the residents of Bolton. This involves detailed assessment of need (Care Act) and effective asset-based support planning, taking into account available resources, universal and voluntary services. It will also involve Carers assessments, capacity assessment and Best Interest decision making, Continuing Health Care assessments and Inter disciplinary and multi-agency working. Experience of resettlement from out of area placements back into the local area, transition work for young adults moving into Adult Services, supporting individuals to move on from their family homes, and Safeguarding investigations is preferable but not exclusive and, we welcome applications from newly qualified Social Workers and offer an extensive package of support through ASYE and for Continuing Professional Development.
