The Christie NHS Trust's Digital Service welcomes applications to this Digital Trainer role. The right person for the role would be passionate about digital skills training and willing to make a positive difference in our digital training delivery.
This exciting opportunity is to cover a 12 month maternity leave within the Digital Service Transformation team. The postholder will be responsible for creating high quality training and delivering training courses using several platforms to suit the learning styles of our staff, ensuring all staff use the systems required to fulfil their job roles efficiently and effectively.
You will educate all staff to effectively utilise new technology which may directly and fundamentally alter their existing roles in a rapidly changing environment. The challenge is to influence their attitude toward Digital in a positive way and support them successfully through the changes.
The right candidate will have a proven track record in training development and delivery to staff of all levels with key skills in developing high quality training materials. This is a very exciting time for our team as we support the Trust on its Digital Transformation Journey, and these roles are pivotal to our success.
The ability to travel to all sites where The Christie offers services will be required.
The post holder will be integral to the Trust’s implementation of Clinical and Non-Clinical system developments, primarily by undertaking the development, planning, preparation and delivery of end user training sessions and materials for system developments, Basic IT Skills and common MS Office programs, under the guidance of the Digital Transformation Team.
They will assist with the realisation of benefits identified from the introduction of the new solutions by delivering high quality training on complex systems which are evolving in terms of functionality. This is a critical role in ensuring the Trust can function, as failure by staff to achieve competency will result in their inability to perform their given role.
Working closely with the Business Analysis team, project managers, and development colleagues, they will identify the impact of changing processes on the development of training courses and materials.
