Due to an internal promotion, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced production planner to join the team as a Production Planner.

At the heart of this, our UK Poultry division produces a third of all poultry eaten in the UK and represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The team includes two production planners who report into the Senior Planner. You would be responsible for ensuring the production schedule/plan is on-time and running smoothly between departments.
1. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipments; conferring with department FLM’s.
2. Compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, and production problems.
3. Supporting daily planning and scheduling for multiple production areas.
4. Creating weekly plans to cover forecasted sales.
5. Monitoring production performance and updating plans where necessary.
6. Stocks reconciliation/mass balance.
ABOUT YOU:
1. Must have experience in a similar Production, Factory, or Line Leader position.
2. A good understanding of supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
3. Ability to reorganize according to constantly changing circumstances.
4. Experience in stocks reconciliation/mass balance.
