We are looking for a Lead Developer to lead and support the future development and growth of our internal development team.
Position:
We are now expanding our team and looking for an experienced IT Lead Developer.
Main job duties:
* Offer support of in-house solutions internally within the company.
* To design, implement, test and document new systems written in C# / .NET 8 with a SQL backend.
* To maintain and develop existing systems written in C# with a SQL backend.
* To write software in an OO (Object Oriented) way.
* Modification and maintenance of SQL Server databases.
* To translate specifications into technical specifications.
* To research, review and recommend the latest proven technological advances in the sector.
* To complete relevant tasks and projects to a high standard in an agreed timeframe.
* To be a self-motivated, flexible person who has the confidence to bring new ideas to the team.
Requirements:
We are looking for our new IT Lead Developer to be a team player and to be motivated to contribute to helping thousands each year.
Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent in Computer Programming or related subjects (E).
* MSCE qualifications (D).
Experience & Knowledge:
* Minimum 8 years’ experience in the following technologies: C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, Web Services (E).
* Experienced using Microsoft Visual Studio (E).
* Experienced using Microsoft SQL Server (E).
* Knowledge of MVC (D).
* Knowledge of automated testing (D).
* Ability to produce written communications (e.g. training documents, project plans) which are clear and readily understood (E).
* Practical experience of project managing software development work (E).
* A reasonable understanding of web design principles (D).
Skills:
* Must have very good interpersonal skills and the ability to act efficiently in a highly demand-led environment (E).
* Must have the ability to interact with peers, subordinates and managers to promote and provide solutions to business-related problems (E).
* Must be able to take responsibility for own work with minimal supervision in a proactive manner (E).
* Must be able to work unsupervised, able to prioritise own workload and share progress (E).
* Willingness to learn new skills and keep up-to-date with the latest technologies (E).
* Ability to time manage in order to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment (E).
The applicant will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent level of technical knowledge and be able to apply the knowledge in a structured approach to solve IT issues.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week Mon-Fri
Location: Hybrid working / Claydon, Suffolk IP6 ** You will need to be within easy reach of our office location **
