We are really excited to announce that at Roundwood Primary School we have a vacancy for a full time Teaching Assistant in our EYFS or KS1 classrooms.
We are looking for an experienced practitioner who has up to date experience and knowledge of supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage and or KS1.
We are looking for the successful candidate to start with us after October half term, or as soon as they are able to.
This a maternity post from November - July, with the potential to become a permanent post moving forwards.
Term time only: Yes
Salary Type: Bucks pay
Salary details: Range 1 or 2 dependent on experience
Contract type: Temporary/Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:15

About the role
To work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Work may will be carried out in the classroom or outside.
• Being aware of and supporting difference and ensuring all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
• Contributing to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
• Appreciating and supporting the role of other professionals.
• Attending and participating in relevant meetings as required.
• Assisting with the supervision of pupils out of lesson times, including breaks and at lunchtime.

About you
Are you an enthusiastic, motivated, happy person who wants to be part of a wonderfully nurturing school where you are valued and your hard work recognised?
You must have strong communication skills as you will model and support language throughout the day. Most importantly, you need to be a team player, be imaginative and creative and get in there and co-play with our wonderful children.
Ideally the candidate needs to have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum, preferably with recent EYFS experience.
