LOCUM APPOINTMENT FOR TRAINING (ST1/2 level) in EMERGENCY MEDICINE FIXED TERM POST 6 months from 5th February 2025 Applications are invited for a Locum Appointment for Training (ST1/2 level) in Emergency Medicine in Ninewells Hospital. Locum Appointments for Training will be assigned a named Consultant Educational Supervisor who can provide advice and support throughout the posting. The post offers an opportunity to develop clinical experience and procedural skills, perform quality improvement work (including teaching opportunities) as well as work towards passing post graduate exams. Educational development time is made available as per college guidelines to allow the development of non-clinical skills and meet some of the hard-to-get specialty learning outcomes (SLOs). Completion of this 12 month appointment could contribute to a year of Higher Specialty Training (HST), should an Outcome 7.1 be attained at Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP). The training programme consistently achieves good ratings on the GMC survey with a high number of experienced Supervisors.
