Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Therapy Assistant to provide support to our community therapy team based in Northwich. The team is made up of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants. The post holder will work closely with the CCICP multi-disciplinary team based at Northwich Infirmary and also with equipment suppliers. The post holder will assist the therapy staff in providing a high quality of assessment, intervention and patient centred care for patients within their home across the Northwich area.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and diligent applicant to support the therapy team with assessments, ongoing patient treatment and ordering and monitoring of equipment. The post holders main role will be to carry out treatments in patient's home independently once assessed by a qualified member of staff. This will also involve the assessment and ordering of equipment when needed. There will be smaller elements of admin, stock organisation and cleaning of equipment.
The post holder will be required to escalate any changes and concerns, and complete timely documentation. Lone working is essential in this role as is the ability to drive and own a car.
